DVDW is in full transformation while celebrating its 15th business year. In 2019, the Hague Office relocated to Monarch Tower in the heart of the city’s central business district; a corporate environment that better fits the DVDW company image and visionHowever, the biggest change is we are pursuing a new challenge. DVDW has opted for a new corporate identity.
DVDW is one of the 50 largest law firms in the Netherlands. For years, it has been an important partner for a wide range of (large) national and international companies, entrepreneurs, investors and family businesses in large and medium-sized companies. Instead of positioning itself as a traditional law firm, DVDW newly identifies itself as a business partner for its clients; or in other words the client’s expert in the laws of business.
“We support entrepreneurs with their business issues. And this we do in a personal, involved but also straightforward manner. As experts in Business Law, we are more than just lawyers. So, in addition to our legal knowledge, we use entrepreneurial expertise to be the best business partner for our clients. We see this as an essential feature of our service and our identity." says Theo Hanssen, managing partner of DVDW.
In terms of quality and potential, DVDW is a leader amongst Dutch middle-sized law firms. It is our ambition to make our name and reputation better known. This requires strength, drive and focus. And an emphasis on communication. A part of this is creating a new visual identity and website. (This brand new identity was set up in collaboration with Dept and Studio Dumbar).
“As a client, I have got to know DVDW very well. What always struck me was the powerful personalities that worked in the office and that this was not reflected anywhere else; not in the house style, nor on the website. Now, the new house style and the striking logo depict a great strength of character on the inside as well as the outside." says Tom Dorresteijn, Strategy Director of Studio Dumbar.
In addition to this, Pieter Smits, director of DVDW reports: “The house style and the website are completely new in both form and content. Furthermore, the logo incorporates the dynamics of a modern law firm combined with the strength of a solid and committed partner. These features are not only extended to the new house style and website, but also reflected in the outstanding personalities of our lawyers, prominently visible on the website.”
