"During the masterclass, Pleading in Interlocutory Proceedings, I’ve come to know DVDW as a truly Rotterdam firm: not just addressing client’s issues in a pragmatic and professional manner, but also doing their utmost in finding a solution. The content of the masterclass painted a realistic picture of pleading in interlocutory proceedings, including useful tips & tricks that’ll give students who want a career in law a head start. I look back on a very instructive day!"
Recently, the Corporate Law Society JSVU (ondernemingsrechtelijk dispuut van de JSVU) paid a visit to DVDW Advocaten in The Hague. The focus of the day was bankruptcy law. During a delicious lunch, we had the chance to informally meet some of the firm’s employees. Afterwards, we dived into the subject matter: we were tested on and instructed about bankruptcy law. The group was then divided in two, and both teams worked on a case. Who would find the best solution? We had to decide which bid was good enough to be accepted for the acquisition of a bankrupt Ltd. After both teams had debated their answers, we concluded the day with drinks during which the students could fire any remaining questions at the firm’s present lawyers. All in all, it was a very informative and enjoyable day that’s to be repeated!”

"Last September, DVDW Advocaten invited us to the 27th and 28th floor of the Millennium Tower in Rotterdam. While enjoying a sandwich, we got acquainted with a few of the firm’s lawyers and we were challenged on the spot for a game of fussball during closing drinks later on. But before that, we were instructed in the doctrine of non-competition clauses – including a side-step to the challenges that social media can cause between employer and employee – with plenty of room for interaction. As a round up, we enjoyed drinks with the firm’s employees. Unfortunately, I have to inform you that we were beaten mercilessly at the game of fussball! Again; a big thanks to DVDW Advocaten for hosting this afternoon!
