We help you grow and develop, in order to be the best you can be. Our DVDW Academy deepens and broadens your professional expertise and skills. The DVDW Academy offers you the opportunity to become an expert in the laws of business.
We encourage you to start working on complex cases from day one. This is done under the guidance of one of our experienced lawyers, who will help you realise your potential.
Lawyers transition through various phases throughout their career; their needs for educational and development opportunities are equally varied. Are you an intern lawyer? We’ve designed the DVDW Incubator just for you. We also have a range of opportunities for our more experienced lawyers to stay on top of their professional growth.
With DVDW Incubator, we offer an educational programme for our junior lawyers, as a supplement to the Professional Education Programme. With DVDW Incubator you’ll further deepen your knowledge and skills during the first three years of your career. You’ll learn about presenting, etiquette, time management and a range of law-specific subjects. Our goal is to educate you to become a confident professional.
Internal courses and training
DVDW Academy organises year-round professional training sessions, keeping you up-to-date whilst broadening your knowledge. We also arrange specialist internal education programmes for each specific section.
We also organise tailored training – designed especially for our lawyers. Examples include Legal English, time management, presenting and acquisition.
A lawyer’s education is continually expanding, hence the importance to specialise. The goal of speciality training is to make you the most knowledgeable and insightful professional within your area of expertise. These training programmes have earned a high accreditation within the legal field. DVDW facilitates these courses for our lawyers and together with you, we add to and improve upon your own interests and expertise.
The masterclasses and courses are taught by renowned teachers; these are our own specialists, as well as prominent professors from Dutch universities. The DVDW Academy features an extensive academic network through partnerships with the Institute for Corporate Law, Governance and Innovation Politics (ICGI) and the Toga Programme by Erasmus University.
